Dustin has deep experience across private equity and venture capital, with a focus on sports, media, and technology. He is a Partner at Profluence Capital.

Previously, Dustin was hired by Weatherford Capital to build and execute the firm’s private equity sports investment thesis, expanding the platform into sports, media, and adjacent sectors. His work included investments across youth, collegiate, and professional sports, operating in highly regulated B2B and B2G environments, and collaborating on $10–$30M+ equity transactions, including co-investments.

Prior to that, Dustin played a key role at BIP Ventures, helping scale the firm from an early-stage platform into a multi-fund, institutional venture organization. During his tenure, the firm grew from a 5-person team to over 70 employees and expanded assets under management from approximately $60M to $1.5B.

Dustin’s experience spans firm building, portfolio strategy, and hands-on company support, with leadership across sports, media, and technology. He was involved in investments including PlayOn and GoFan, two of the largest exits in youth sports history. His investment experience ranges from Seed through Series B across software and software-enabled businesses.

Dustin played Division I lacrosse at Brigham Young University.
